Devon cocktail company Bar Buoy has launched a new limited-edition cocktail in collaboration with Salcombe Distilling Co.

‘Seabird’, which features Salcombe Distilling Co.’s multi-award winning flagship gin ‘Start Point’, is the latest cocktail to be added to the range and is mixed using Salcombe Gin, pink grapefruit juice, lime juice and agave syrup.

Bar Buoy cofounder Tim Ball (the Bar Buoy) says “The ‘Seabird’ cocktail is our take on a gin-based version of the Paloma. It combines Salcombe Gin’s award-winning gin with citrus juices and then uses agave syrup to help balance the flavour. As with all our cocktails it’s freshly made to order so customers can enjoy the very best premixed, bar standard cocktail at home.”

In addition to launching ‘Seabird’ Bar Buoy will now be using Salcombe Gin’s ‘Start Point’ in all of its gin-based cocktails which includes the Bramble, Long Island Iced Tea and Negroni. Each bottle label has been updated to show the drinks are now “crewed with” Salcombe Gin.

Tim continues: “Our ethos has always been to use the very best possible ingredients we can in all our cocktails and we are thrilled to have now agreed a partnership with Salcombe Gin. ‘Start Point’ has won numerous awards since its launch in 2016 and given the synergy between both brands – coastal vitality and a love of the sea – it’s a perfect fit.”

Freshly mixed by the sea in Devon, Bar Buoy cocktails offers a range of 12 classic flavours that can be bought in boxes of multiples of two. Each bottle serves the perfect measure for two people to share so the ‘Low Tide’ box of two bottles gives four cocktails; the ‘Mid Tide’ box of four gives eight cocktails; the ‘High Tide’ box of 6 gives 12 cocktails and the ‘Spring Tide’ box of 12 bottles gives 24.

All orders include the option to add a gift message as well as free delivery across the UK.

In the range: Bramble; Cosmopolitan; Espresso Martini; Hemingway Daiquiri; Knickerbocker; Long Island Iced Tea; Margarita; Mojito; Negroni; Old Fashioned; Original Rum Punch and Seabird.
