Celebrate King Charles III’s historical day at Bayards Cove Inn where some special additions to its regular menus are fit for a king.
There are also some delicious cocktails too, including Cove Coronation Cocktail, made with Devon Cove vodka with potatoes grown not far from Dartmouth at Hope Cove.
The bunting and flags will be up, so join Bayards Cove Inn for a special feast to celebrate this wonderful and historic occasion.
The Coronation menu will be available on Saturday May 6 and Sunday May 7 and includes these additions to help you have a right royal coronation day!
Breakfast: Eggs Royale – toasted muffin, spinach, smoked salmon and hollandaise.
Lunch: Coronation chicken sandwiches
Lunch and dinner: King’s Coronation Sherry Trifle.

This is a take on the traditional Garden Cocktail featuring award-winning Devon Potato Vodka, Damson Liqueur and English Apple Juice
- 50ml Cove Vodka
- 10ml Cove Damson Liqueur
- 50ml apple juice
- 15ml sugar syrup
- 25ml lime juice
- 1 apple
Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and add plenty of ice. Shake and strain into a glass with fresh ice. Garnish with a fan of apple slices.
