Learn a new craft at The Husbandry School – April courses

Come and learn a new craft at The Husbandry School.

Our craft courses are 1 day long and run from 10am – 4pm. Each course gives you the opportunity to learn a new craft, and even take home a finished piece on the day!

Coming up this spring we have :

• Family Woodworking on Saturday 13^th April
• Spring Cyanotypes on Saturday 27^th April
• Willow Weaving a Hare on Saturday 11^th May

At the Husbandry School all materials are included in the course fee, plus you’ll leave with lots of things to take home with you. Course numbers are restricted so that there is plenty of opportunity to ask questions and receive one-to-one attention. Lunch and refreshments will be provided from produce grown at the Husbandry School, naturally.

We also offer fun springtime activities for all the family on our Family Experience Days up on the farm!

During the day you will have a chance to meet and care for our animals, explore our garden, woods, hedge and ponds, pick tasty food to eat and get stuck in crafting with natural materials.

Our activities are seasonal and weather dependent, and will change with each Family Experience Day, but can include visiting and feeding our goats & kids, making clay Boggarts, planting seeds to take home, making collages with leaves, twigs and wool, or gathering edible leaves, flowers and fruit to eat in our garden & hedgerows.
