High Grange Signature Feast
Where it all started for High Grange! A five course tasting menu featuring amazing produce from the local East Devon Larder, cooked spectacularly over fire.
High Grange Signature Feast nights are hosted by Luke Mackay, owner, his wife Sara and their team at High Grange Devon, Dalwood.
You’ll arrive at High Grange for around 7pm and be guided by the smell of smoke, the crackle of the fire and the lights illuminating the trees. Greeted by one of the team, you will be welcomed with a glass of fizz and some nibbles in their outdoor kitchen, whilst getting to know your fellow feasters around the fire pit and exploring around the grounds. When the time is right, they will invite you to be seated as the main event begins – at this point you might want to tuck into the Chateau Petrus ’82 that you have brought with you under their BYO booze rule and relax… A High Grange Feast is all about conviviality, hospitality, food and laughter.
Once seated, the feast will begin. A 5 course meal of really local, seasonal, high quality food that they hope you will enjoy together with the guests you have brought along… and those you haven’t. Luke will offer you some insight into his methods of sourcing, prepping and cooking (as well as the odd sarcy quip), feel free to ask questions and take photos, it’s what they’re all about! High Grange hope your experience will be a memorable one, they like to think that time spent outside in a beautiful woodland, eating quality food, surrounded by like minded souls is never time wasted.
